Quakenet is one of the largest IRC-networks in the world. They are quite harsh on spam etc, and they therefore won't allow more than five connections from one IP. If you want to use Quakenet you therefore have to idle in the channel #blinkenshell on Quakenet so we can request a trust and thereby getting the privilige of having more than five connectnions to Quakenet. Blinkenshell has a "trust" from Quakenet, this is so that we can connect with more than five clients at the same time to their servers. It's very important to follow the rules and that we stay under the connection limit of a total of 10 connection to Quakenet. Remember to a maximum of one connection to Quakenet (the per user limit).

If you connect to quakenet, you are also required to hang around in the channel '''#blinkenshell @ Quakenet'''
